Spell-out
SYNTAX: (minimalist theory) instruction to switch to PF. What happens at PF is a point of debate; if one assumes that lexical items come from the lexicon fully inflected, phonological features are 'stripped away' at PF. Another possibility is that Spell-Out accesses the lexicon to associate the syntactic structure with phonological features.
