Cliticization
MORPHOLOGY/SYNTAX: a process by which a complex word is formed by attaching a
clitic to a fully inflected word. It is unclear whether cliticization is a type of word formation or a type of syntactic operation (incorporation).
EXAMPLE: in Je t'aime, t' is the clitic attached to aime.
